Baicells won an OnGo Award for Excellence in Enterprise OnGo Private Network Deployment with partners Alef Edge, CELLocity, Druid, LittleBird, VALL Technologies, and Winncom.
These awards recognize exceptional leadership, innovation, and success in deploying CBRS networks.
Baicells was awarded a 2022 OnGo award for a network deployed in a Multi-Dwelling Unit (MDU) with partners Alef Edge, CELLocity, Druid, LittleBird, VALL Technologies, and Winncom. The project marks a culmination of teamwork between the organizations and highlights the growing CBRS ecosystem developing to bring private networks for enterprise-grade applications.
In summary, these residential apartment buildings use CBRS to connect to a host of IoT sensors provided by LittleBird, whose devices are deployed at each apartment.Residents, who have an app on their iOS or Android device, can do several things like control their AC/heat and apartment lights, open gates to allow visitor cars to enter, have video calls with those trying to enter the complex, and more. LittleBird's devices also allow residents to modify their residences remotely.
Baicells eNodeBs are the backbone of the CBRS network, which utilizes Alef Edge's API to connect to the Druid core. VALL Technologies and CELLocity installed and currently manage the network, which first went live in February, connecting 292 online endpoints. System integrators can completely replicate this model with other campuses; it's a perfect example of why more people should take notice of private networks.
